Artist Talks
During the early days of COVID, I created a weekly series called “Happy Hour with the Artist.” Occurring Fridays at 4pm, I spoke with future and former exhibitors at the Rockport Center for the Arts about their artwork. Later, I condensed the hour-long interviews into 5-ish minute videos. I edited the interviews with images to highlight certain aspects of the conversations.
Gallery Talks
These videos were made as a way to introduce visitors to the work in the gallery. They were made during the height of the COVID lockdown, when visitors couldn’t make it into the gallery or artists couldn’t do in person gallery talks.
Grant and Fundraising Videos
These videos were created to be used in conjunction with grants and fundraising efforts. When I began making videos for Rockport Center for the Arts, grant awards increased significantly.
This short video plays before all films at the Rockport Film Festival as a way to explain the deeper purpose of the Festival.
This video was made as part of a fundraising drive for 2021 Youth Programs.
This video was made for a grant from Texas Women in the Arts. We received funds this year.
